2. Post Processing Link to heading

  1. Manual: use sandpaper to get rid of the bigger loose parts
  2. Dremel: first brushed then polished the parts
  3. Manual: sandpapered again
  4. Dremel: polished with paste then brushed
  5. Fixation Paint

TIL Because it is a prototype i tried out the above mentioned post-processing. if you polish you will loose the shiny skin of the objects. this happened here. ok - just for practicing i epoxy the parts c6b2c3ea810c7c45892950e2c5c073e1_MD5.png

Epoxy the parts so they are somewhat save against environmental damages

Next write data on your NFC tag. I tried several versions but ended up with a simple phone number line

Put it together with screws and glue.

I ended up with a trashy Steampunk styled box Link to heading

but it is ok, since it´s the prototype and works just as planned.
